Telemetry Tool Chest - Desktop - Review & Certification
The Review and Certification screens of the Desktop Tool Chest allow you to review, adjust if necessary, and certify massive amounts of raw data in as short a time as possible.
The first screen is the Review Selection Screen, which has the following features:
- Keeps track of both the first and last record in your database for each sensor being polled
- Keeps track of your Last Reviewed Date and displays the number of days of raw data still unreviewed
- Forces the reviewer to begin with the next unreviewed record to avoid "review gaps" in the data. If the reviewer left off on 7/14 of a given year, it will not allow the reviewer to begin reviewing data from 7/16
- May be used as a viewer for telemetry data for any date range with Save Changes features disabled if the begin date/time is greater than the Last Reviewed date/time
- User may simply select Next 2 Weeks or enter a number of weeks to review manually to begin where the last review left off
The Sensor Data Screen appears when a user double-clicks a sensor on the Review Screen or selects a Date Range or Period Range. The Sensor Data Screen:
- Preserves your original value for each record and an audit trail of any adjustments: who did it, when the adjustment was made, and why the change was made
- Employs both a graph and grid display of the data for easy navigation
- Allows users to move through the grid by clicking on a point on the graph
- Searches for missing values, counting zero values as missing or not depending upon your criteria
- Searches for suspicious values as defined by a user-specified percentage (i.e., next record is more than 25% greater or less that the previous record
- Automatically highlights the suspicious data range for correction
- Displays the elapsed time between the beginning and end of any highlighted range
- Allows data adjustment by time-based interpolation, fill with zero, or flag as lost
- Allows all shifts by percentage of current value or shifts up and down by a specified value
- Allows restoration of all pre-edit values before Save Changes occurs
- Automatically gets the next set of records upon demand after save changes for rapid workflow
