The user module has a dual purpose. It is where you control access to Personal Libraries and to Restricted Sites on the website, and also where you add users for the Desktop Tool Chest as well.

• Web Users: assign their usernames, and give them their initial passwords. Once thus registered, a web user may change his/her password at any time via the web interface. You will also be able to grant web access to sites which otherwise would be restricted by simply checking the RTU site in the list box and pressing Save.
• Desktop Tool Chest Users must also have a login and password. You will also have to enter user initials for Desktop users and grant them permissions, or not, to perform certain tasks within the Desktop Tool Chest, such as the permission to Review raw data.
