Telemetry Tool Chest - Web Module - Satellite Maps
Both Google and Microsoft Virtual Earth have provided sophisticated Programmer APIs which allow developers to integrate their satellite maps into a third party website, but few developers have actually take advantage of these powerful tools.
A few websites offer one or the other, but we quickly discovered both are necessary since at times Google has the best map and other times MSVE.
Your visitors will be able to view satellite maps for any site for which you supply longitude and latitude, and our custom developed map interface allows the visitor further options:
- Option to view Satellite Map only, Road Map only, or Hybrid for both MSVE and Google maps
- Option to drag map in any direction
- Ability to set zoom level
- Ability to view shifting lat/longs as the map is panned
- Ability to switch between Google and MSVE renditions
- Ability to save the map configuration in Personal Library
